The Institution has been standing tall for nearly two centuries with a rich heritage rendering yeomen service in the field of education for the upliftment of the girl child.
The Institution aims at quality education alongside co-curricular activities, instilling confidence, discipline and inter-personal skills thereby preparing students to attain greater heights of excellence and to meet challenges ahead. The Institution has been managed by the Church of south India, Karnataka Central Diocese with the Bishop as its Chairman. The present Principal of the school is Mrs. Gnanamoni Franklin.

One hundred and sixty eight years of enlightening the students with precious knowledge has made them to be torch bearers of high morals and values much needed in the present scenario as they go ahead and set pace for others to follow. Holding on to her motto ARISE, LEARN, SERVE & BE STEADFAST. A Goodwillian makes her mark in all her endeavours as she rises above her frailties, learns to achieve and serves to contribute towards society, she remains steadfast in the midst of crumbling ideologies.

Life is like a mirror. It often gets misty with the fog of reality, but try wiping it with your faith and see it is a clear reflection of your dreams.

Goodwill Girls’ High School & Composite PU College is an institution of eminence and quality education. Established in 1855, the school has served as a centre for learning and nurturing the talents of every student that has walked its halls.

Following in the footsteps of our founder, Rev. Goodwill, we strive to help the future generation find their way in the world while being deep rooted in the Word. Started with the vision of educating underprivileged children, our management has made it possible to carry out these morals till date.

For the past 166 years, we have been shaping lives and lighting the way for the youth of our country, providing them with cosmic opportunities to express themselves. Apart from the training under academics, special attention and personal assistance is given to help them in their spiritual lives and character building.
